Venue available For Up To 200 Guests.

The Theatre Lounge can host a variety of evening and weekend events for up to 200 guests. Our quirky venue, set within the Victorian arches of the Corn Exchange, makes the perfect function space for private parties, wedding receptions, funeral receptions, school proms, anniversaries, corporate events, agms and evening dinners. With the creative expertise of our in-house events team, the space can be transformed to meet a range of bespoke requirements.

Wedding ceremonies and receptions

We offer humanist wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships, naming ceremonies, renewal of vows, memorials and funeral services.

Parties/special celebrations/band nights/comedy club/small performances

The venue can be decorated by the hirer to create your perfect event. We have PA equipment and lighting for small gigs and productions. We offer box office facilities to those wishing to sell tickets for a 10% fee.

Please note we do not permit teenage or 21st Birthday Parties at our venue.
